# Y2K
A millennium-web theme built for musicians and bands. Liquid-chrome bevels, frosted plastic, gradient mesh, marquees, and a little glitter bring back the turn-of-the-2000s music site. Frosted iMac plastic in light mode, rave blacklight in dark.

## Good for
We built Y2K for artists who want a page with personality. Treat these as starting points, not limits. If the mood fits your act, use it:
- Musicians and bands
- Record and tour pages
- Indie labels and collectives
- Creators leaning into nostalgia
## What you get
- Five color presets, each with a tuned light mode and a tuned dark mode: Chrome Candy, Bubblegum, Lime Fizz, Graphite, and Tangerine.
- Orbitron display type, Inter body, and Share Tech Mono, bundled and ready. Fonts stay admin-controlled, so you can swap them from the typography settings.
- Five persona blocks: a discography, tour dates, a tracklist, a waveform player, and a webring badge.
- A liquid-chrome hero that renders metaballs on a canvas at the top of the page. It respects reduced-motion and falls back to a static chrome backdrop with JavaScript off.
- A demo site that installs when you activate the theme: a home page, an about page, a short blog, and a contact page whose form emails your admins.
- Every core block restyled to match, plus a themed login screen and a themed 404 page.
## Install
Install from the BlockNinja registry, then pick a preset and assign your fonts in the admin. Activate the demo content if you want a fully dressed starting point.
