Earthen
A warm, hand-crafted theme in moss, clay, and sage over sun-bleached cream. Botanical line-art and soft organic shapes sit on a paper-grain ground, so a page feels grounded and hopeful rather than corporate. It was made for causes people care about. The palette carries a quiet, outdoor calm.
Good for
We built Earthen with cause-driven work in mind. Treat these as starting points, not limits. If the mood fits your brand, use it:
- Conservation groups and land trusts
- Nonprofits and NGOs running donation drives
- Community farms and food co-ops
- Sustainability and outdoor education projects
What you get
- Five color presets, each with a tuned light mode and a tuned dark mode: Mossbed, Clay Field, Wet Loam, Sage Morning, and Ember Loam.
- Fraunces for headings and Work Sans for body text, both bundled and ready. Fonts stay admin-controlled, so you can swap them from the typography settings.
- Three persona blocks: a donation appeal, a field-dispatch note, and an impact report.
- A demo site that installs when you activate the theme: a home page, an about page, a short blog, and a contact page whose form emails your admins. It comes seeded as a conservation org called Rootline Trust.
- Every core block restyled to match, including botanical dividers, plus a themed login screen and a themed 404 page.
Install
Install from the BlockNinja registry, then pick a preset and assign your fonts in the admin. Activate the demo content if you want a fully dressed starting point.
